CORTLAND - Robert J. Augustinsky, 73, died at his residence Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.

Robert was born Dec. 16, 1944 in Youngstown, the son of Robert and Margaret (Baytos) Augustinsky.

He served in the U.S. National Guard and worked as a wire mill operator for Delphi Packard Electric for 44 years, retiring in 2007.

Robert enjoyed the fellowship at his local Moose Lodge #1012. He was also a member of the Slovak Club, and enjoyed fishing, gambling, gardening and classic cars. Robert had a passion and loved caring for all types of animals.

A sister, Jean, preceded Robert in death.

He leaves behind three sons, James of Kansas City, KS, Barry (Stephanie) of Suffolk, VA, and Rob (Maria) of Brunswick, OH; a brother Lee, of Fowler; and five grandchildren: Luke Augustinsky, Kasey Shelor, Josh and Julia Augustinsky and Jamie Gould.

Arrangements were handled by T. J. Fox Funeral Home in Vienna.
