1935 - 2019

Theodore “Ted” E. Williams (83) of Vienna, OH gained his wings and entered the gates of heaven to be reunited with his three brothers on February 3rd, 2019.

Ted was born on May 31st, 1935 in Middlefield, OH to Earl and Edith Williams.

Growing up Ted and his brothers were inseparable. One could catch them riding horses on the farm, hunting, bowling, golfing, and fishing, he was a true farm boy.

He graduated from Vienna High School in 1953. Following high school Ted joined the United States Army where he was an military police officer in France and Germany.

He married the love of his life, JoNell Parker, on June 30th, 1962; they were married for 56 years.

After the military, Ted worked at General Motors in Lordstown, OH for over thirty years, where he later retired from. In his later years, Ted always had Bonanza and Gunsmoke on the TV. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his dog (Lady), and reading war books.

He is survived by his wife JoNell Williams of Vienna, OH, his children Jill (Paul) Greathouse of Hubbard, Todd (Cindy) Williams of Fowler, OH, Scott (Michelle Shamrock) Williams of Bazetta, OH and his daughter in law Michelle Williams of Warren, OH, and seven grandchildren Taylor, Alex, Maddison, Morgan, Mack, Rebecca, and Jake.

He is preceded in death by his parents Edith and Earl Williams; and his brothers Bill, Bob and Tom Williams.

Ted was the best husband, father, and grandfather anyone could have imagined. You knew he loved you unconditionally and he didn’t even have to say it.

He will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Burial Park, where he will be with his brothers again, waiting for the love of his life.

Private services will be held at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel Mausoleum.
