Obituary
Delaware, OH - Alma Powell, 92, of Delaware, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the Delaware Court Healthcare Center.
Alma was born December 27, 1922 in Niles, the daughter of John and Helen Getsko.
She was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School and worked in the Howland School system for 30 years as a teacher's aide.
Alma loved animals, enjoyed playing bingo and especially spending time with her family.
Alma married Sanford E. Powell on June 16, 1948, Mr. Powell died in 1971.
She leaves behind a son, Brian (Donna) Powell of Delaware, OH; two grandchildren, Alexander and Lauren, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a committal service at 1:00 pm, Saturday, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
