1918 - 2014

Anna B. Boyle, 95, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

Born in Carnegie, PA as the second of four sisters and four brothers to Anna and Walter Baran.

The family relocated to Westfield, NY where she was a star athlete on the 1935-1936 undefeated Girls Championship High School Basketball team. She was married to her husband, the late Ralph David Boyle of New Lyme Ohio for 51 years. She and Ralph and their three children moved to California in the early 1950's and returned five years later to the northeast Ohio area where they both worked at Packard Electric for more than 20 years. After retiring to Inverness Florida in 1978 the couple enjoyed traveling and visits from their children and grandchildren until 1991 when Ralph passed away. In 2004 she relocated to the Atlanta area to be near her daughter Alana in her later years.

She is survived by her brother, John Baran of Needham, MA; sister, Betty Andes of Shadyside, OH; three children, Anita Magyar of Orwell, OH, Daniel Boyle of Woodside, CA and Alana Anderson of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Our beloved "Mutte" cherished her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M., at Crown Hill Burial Park and Mausoleum and Chapel, 3966 Warren-Sharon Rd., Vienna, with Pastor Joseph Sheely, officiating. Friends will be received at the mausoleum chapel on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at 2:00 P.M.
