1937 - 2015

Niles - Barbara Beatty, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Warren.

Barbara was born August 15, 1937, in Olive Hill, KY, the daughter of James R. and Ida (Oney) Callihan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 47 years Albert whom she married in August 31, 1968.

Barbara was the proud mother of four children. Three sons, David Miller of Cortland, Ohio, Rodney L. (Claudia) Miller of Valley Grove, WV, Kevin Beatty of Niles, and one daughter Terry Miller of Aurora, Colorado. She also leaves behind her brother Phil (Carol) Callihan of Champion, and sisters Wilma (Paul) File of Vienna and Sharon K. McDonough, of Fowler. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Ricky Miller, preceded Barbara in death.

Barbara attended Trumbull Business College and had been employed at the Contact Crisis Center, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Niles, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, at the Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Entombment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park

The family requests any donations be given to the Kidney Foundation in Barbara's memory.
