Warren - Beatrice M. Bowers, 87, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

Beatrice was born March 26, 1925 in Girard, Ohio, the daughter of William and Cora (Woodward) O'Connell. Beatrice was a graduate of Liberty High School and was later employed by the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts Office and the Trumbull County

Soldiers and Sailors Relief Office. She married William M. Bowers, Sr. January 3, 1948. Mr. Bowers died May 5, 2000. Beatrice will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lynn M. (Trent) Halliday; sons, William M. (Shirley) Bowers Jr. of Cleveland, Dennis R. (Kaja) Bowers of Westlake and Timothy J. Bowers of Akron; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William, a sister Alice, and three brothers

William, James, and Lawrence O'Connell.

A private memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 3, 2012 at Selby's Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. Interment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park. Selby Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
