Warren - Beatrice A. Moran, 96, of Warren, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley in Warren.

Beatrice was born February 4, 1920, in Sharon, PA, the daughter of Vincent and Louise Yannesee.

She was a graduate of Sharon High School and attended college in Miami, FL to become a lab technician.

Beatrice worked as a lab Technician at Sharon Medical Clinic. She later worked at Livingstons Department Store at the Eastwood Mall.

Beatrice was a life-long member of St. Thomas The Apostle Church.

She married Theodore Moran in 1952. He passed away in January of 2011.

Beatrice leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Ted (Nancy) Moran of Cincinnati; a daughter, Cindy (Jay) Gilson of Bazetta; a sister Janet; three grandchildren, Brian Gilson of Nashville, TN, Jenna Gilson of Nashville, TN and Michael Moran of Cincinnati.

Brothers, James, Dominic, Frank, Peter; and sisters, Carmel, Helen and Josephine preceded Beatrice in death.

Beatrice was an extraordinary mother and grandmother. She always put her family first in her life and her favorite enjoyment was cooking for her family.

Beatrice came from a large family and had many friends, and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Calling hours for Beatrice will be held Sunday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. A Mass of the Christian burial will be held Monday at 10:00 am, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Vienna. There will be a short committal service at Crown Hill's Chapel Mausoleum after the church service.
