1918 - 2010
Niles - Ben Rodin, 92, died at Shepard of the Valley in Niles on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
Ben was born January 2, 1918 in Campbell, Ohio, the son of John and Mary Rodin.
Ben served in the US Army during WWII and later owned at rural propane gas service for forty years.
He married Maureen Jellison November 29, 1947. Maureen passed away December 12, 2000.
Ben served on the board of trustees and was a member of the Second Christian Church of Warren.
Surviving Ben are two sisters, Sophie Alverez of Lorain, Oh and Zona Andrews of Ft. Pierce, Fla. And many nieces and nephews.
His wife and brother, Nicholas Rodin preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna, where friends and family may call one hour prior to service.
