Bertha B. Scott 1919 - 2013

Niles - Bertha B. Scott, 94, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her residence.

Bertha was born January 12, 1919 in McConnelsville, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Bessie (Sealock) Brown.

She was employed for 18 years at Hillside Hospital in the Dietary Department, retiring in 1985.

Bertha loved and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely, and traveling to visit her family.

Her husband, Okey Scott, whom she married in 1934, passed away in 1985.

Bertha leaves behind two daughters, Edith Snyder of Niles and Frances (John) Hernandez of Howland; a sister, Juanita Henderson of Zanesville, OH; three grandchildren, Robin (Joe) Bedich, Holly (Michael) Guerrero and Sherry Killin; seven great-grandchildren, Wayne, Michael, and Corey Rohrbaugh, Joey, Daniel Bedich; Haleigh, Mikey Guerrero.

Her husband, four brothers, Dean, Dana, Junior and Virgil; two sisters, Lucille and Ella Mae preceded Bertha in death.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with the service to follow at 3 p.m. at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
