Carla S. Nearhoof entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1954 in Akron, Ohio to Carl and Marilyn (Hawn) Ford. Carla made a home with her loving husband of 30 years, Jack, whom she married on May 17, 1994. Carla loved, above all else, her grandchildren and time with her family and friends. She found enjoyment in reading and was an excellent cook. She loved being a mom and taking care of her home. She appreciated all her trips to Siesta Key, which in turn fulfilled her love for being at the beach. She also enjoyed music and going to different concerts with her husband. Carla was deeply loved by everyone who knew her. Carla is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Jack H. Nearhoof of Lake Milton, OH; daughters Nicole (Brian) Fairchild of Midland TX, Shay (Gary) Helton of Akron OH, Mary (Timothy) Treptow of Stow OH ; son Robert (Jennifer) Nearhoof of Uniontown OH.; grandchildren Weston, Evan, Julianne Fairchild, Emily and Kaitlyn Treptow, Madison and Emerson Nearhoof, and two sisters Renee of TX and Denise of VA. Carla was predeceased by her parents and a sister; Michelle. At the family's request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held this summer for family and friends. Professional Services were entrusted to Selby Funeral Home.
