Cheryl L. Scott, 68, passed away at home on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Cheryl was born on December 7, 1956 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Donald E. and Donna R. (Jones) Fisher.

Cheryl was a part of the Lakeview High School graduating class of 1975. She spent many years as a Telecommunication Engineer for Sprint and then worked for Windstream. She was a member of Bazetta Christian Church.

Cheryl was a dedicated and proud donor of The American Red Cross. In her spare-time she enjoyed bird watching. Cheryl loved her flowers and spent much time gardening. Above all else, Cheryl loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

Cheryl leaves behind many that will miss her dearly, including; daughter Sarah R. (Dustin) Howes of Southington, OH; son Gregory M. (Megan) Scott of Howland, OH; grandchildren Harper, Wyatt, Kallie and little Mr. Colton, who will gracing the family with their presence in April; sister Deneen R. (Paul) Hovis of Cortland, OH; brothers Mark E. (Sue) Fisher of Cortland, OH, Scott (Robin) Fisher of Ellsworth, ME; nieces Jennifer and Stephanie; nephew P.J.; great-neice Eliana and great-nephews Caden, Connor, Jaxon and Bryson.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to First Light Homecare and Heartland Hospice for all of their excellent care of Cheryl. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Red Cross.

Services will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 11:30am at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel and Mausoleum in Vienna, OH.
