1941 - 2015

Vienna - Deloris Fay Ramsey, 73, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Deloris was born on July 26, 1941 in Fayetteville, West Virginia. She lived in Vienna.

Deloiris was preceded in death by her husband, John Ramsey, Sr. They were married on February 15, 1962. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Avonna Hughes, and several siblings.

She is survived by her children, Jonna (Jim) Tait of Illinois, Donna Ramsey of Vienna, John Ramsey Jr. of Fowler; and Rose Ferry, whom she held a special place in her heart and life.

Also surviving Deloris are her grandchildren, Brett Ramsey, Amber Ramsey, Adam Tait, John Tait, Johnnie Ramsey III, Lillian Ramsey, Kayla Pentek, Kyle Ferry and Conner Ferry. She also had four great-grandchildren, Evan Ramsey, Kayden Ramsey, Ruby Ramsey and Rilee Paddock; a sister, Shelda Kortaway and a brother, Buddy Hughes.

Deloris devoted her life to caring for her family. She loved flower gardening. She also had a great love for horses, chickens and her dogs.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
