Diana L. Anderson 1948 - 2012

Bristolville - Diana L. Anderson, 63, of Bristolville passed to eternal rest on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at her home, after courageously battling a long term illness.

She was born August 9, 1948 in Cameron, W. VA, the daughter of Lorraine Goudy.

Diana worked at Delphi Packard Electric for 30 years, retiring in 1999.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Diana loved and trusted in the Lord and knew that He would never give her more than she could handle.

Diana was an avid bingo player, loved garage sales, and one of her biggest hobbies was watching NASCAR and being part of the Earnhardt Nation. She will always be remembered by her loving heart and the kindness and generosity she showed to her family, friends, and everyone that she met.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Anderson, mother, Lorraine Goudy of Moundsville, W. VA, brothers, Leroy Hartzel of Moundsville, W. VA, and Tommy Hartzel of Hubbard; a sister, Hazel Midcap; a daughter Rhonda (Thomas) Neely of East Claridon, OH; a son, Dale Anderson Jr. of Howland; granddaughters, Stephanie Carter and Hannah Anderson; and a step-grandson, Chase Guerrero.

Diana was proceeded in death by her brother, Roger Lee Mellon.

In lieu of lowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Bristolville Fire Department EMT units.

Calling hours will take place on Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with the funeral service at 3:00 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
