Masury - Dorothy A. Mariani, 90, died Saturday evening, October 23, 2010 at Orange Village Care Center in Masury, Ohio, after an extended illness.
Dorothy was born February 24, 1920, in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Nicholas and Amelia (Stauffer) Dellinger.
Dorothy was a former employee of Mullins Mfg. and Trumbull Lamp and also a member of the Niles Historical Society.
She spent her last years at Orange Village Care Center where she made many friends. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, needle work, bingo, and helping others.
Her husband, Mike Mariani, died in 1992.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Amelia (Amy) Newell of Liberty; sisters, Betty Shorthouse, of Winter Park, Fla, Gladys Barnhart of Pulaski, PA, Thelma Johnson of Warren, Sally Lou Bacher of Austintown; and two grandchildren, Michael Gregory of Hartford and Kristina Gregory of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, Marion McCloskey, Janette Gallite, Lorraine Piecuch and Lillian Dellinger; brothers, Robert and Larry Dellinger.
There were no services. Inurnment to take place in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
