1927- 2016

Vienna - Elise Ria Murray, 88, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, surrounded by her family.

Elise was born in Frankfort, Germany, August 7, 1927, the daughter of Phillip Greim and Paula Drietz Greim. She was a World War II bride, coming to this country with her husband, Arthur, whom she married on August 23, 1947. Arthur passed away February 11, 2000. Together they raised six children who are left behind to cherish her memory.

Survivors include her sons, Arthur (Tracy) Murray of Southington, and Gerald of Vienna. Her daughters are Rita (Richard) Novosel of Bradenton, FL., Diane Reday of Vienna, Arlene (Bruce) Mitchell of Daytona Beach, FL, and Lori (John) Donofrio of Lake Helen, FL. And a sister, Ellie Hurbert of Gross-Zimmern, Germany. Also surviving are 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law , Friedel, of Germany.

As a homemaker, Elsie was an amazing cook and baker, and loved making German foods. She enjoyed travelling with her husband to Ireland, England, and Germany. She also looked forward to spending time in Florida visiting with grandchildren.

Elsie loved her church and was an active member for many years.

Services will be at the Queen of the Holy Rosary church , 291 Scoville Dr. Vienna, Oh on Friday, May 20th. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 pm with the Requiem Mass taking place at 3:00 pm. by Fr. Bouchard.

Internment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
