The daughter of Robert and Caroline (Truman) Edwards, Florence was born June 26, 2012 in Spencer Massachusetts. In 1940 she graduated from East Brookfield High School in Brookfield Mass. After graduation she worked in a shoe factory during World War II. She went on to work as a cutter operator at Packard-Electric Division of General Motors Corporation for 36 years before retirement in 1986.

Florence was an independent woman who loved to travel and enjoyed taking care of her rock garden. Above all other things she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

She leaves behind her five children Susan (George) Finn, Frank Capatch, Carol (Kenny) Wilson, William (Kim) Capatch, and Cynthia (Gary) Bauer. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, two great granddaughters, her sister Elizabeth Goodrow and her good friend Jeannie Spohn.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jake Edwards.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.

Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
