Warren - Florence M. Talkington, 101, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at her residence.

Florence was born August 20, 1916 in Warren, OH, the daughter of John R. and Carrie (Baldwin) Ulam.

Florence attended Warren G. Harding High School. She was a Republican committee woman and a member of the Sweet Adelines. Florence was also a member of the Grant Cook Bird Watching Club.

Florence married Robert R. Talkington on November 27, 1936. Robert died in March of 1994.

Florence loved nature, especially bird watching. She also enjoyed reading, learning about local history and listening to music.

She leaves behind a son, David N. Talkington of Warren; a daughter, Norma Holzbach of Warren; and three grandchildren, Robert Talkington, David (Ashley) Talkington and Carrie Talkington, all of Warren.

Services for Florence will be private.
