New Vienna - Frank C. Hawley, age 80, from New Vienna, Ohio, passed away August 6, 2014, after a lengthy illness.
He was born June 10, 1934 in Williamsville, IL, the son of Burl and Luella Hawley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings, Phil and Rick
Hawley of Williamsville, IL, and wife of 26 years, Judith Jaxtheimer Hawley of Leavittsburg.
He is survived by two daughters; Doraine Sabino and Michelle Hawley,
sister, Sandra Whiteleather, and five grandchildren: Trenton Sabino,
Kira Sabino, Shallen Sabino, Matthew Kraus and Jessica Kraus.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1962, and was stationed in Korea.
He retired from the Ohio Turnpike Commission in 2000.
He was an avid golfer, sportsman and family man. He was a member of the V.F.W., Elks Wilmington, Ohio and the Clinton County Sportsman's Club.
Memorial service and interment will be held Saturday August 16, at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel, in Vienna Ohio at 1pm.
