Frank A. Lach 1917 - 2011
Warren - Frank A. Lach, 94, died at his residence Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
Frank was born May 30, 1917 in Belle Vernon, PA, the son of the late Adam and Elizabeth (Kutsko) Lach.
He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the US Navy as a Shipfitter 1C.
Frank worked 20 years with U.S. Steel Corp. in Pittsburgh and as a millwright for Packard Electric in Warren for 20 years.
He married the former Pauline Pavlovich on July 18, 1948. She passed away in May of 2000.
Frank leaves behind three daughters; Joyce Palonder of North Canton, Linda Gibbs of Niles and Anita Lach of Warren; a son, Frank (Judy) Lach of Geneva; a sister, Margaret Natali; a brother, Thomas Lach; eight grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren.
Preceding Frank in death was a daughter who died in infancy; two brothers, George and John, and one sister Anne Bickel.
Calling hours will be Friday from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. Pastor Mary Hall will officiate.
Selby Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Entombment will be in Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum.
