1946 - 2012

Champion - Frank E. Vondrasek, 66, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at White Oak Manor in Warren.

A lifelong area resident, Frank was born May 6, 1946 in San Bernardino, CA, the son of Ruth Vondrasek.

His wife, Marie (Wildman) Vondrasek died in 2001.

Frank served in the US Army as a tank mechanic and later was an auto mechanic working for several local car dealerships.

He enjoyed woodworking, crafts and going camping and fishing.

Frank leaves behind his sons, Don of Southington and Frank of Mecca; his daughter, Nellie of Champion; his sisters, Marion of Mecca and June of Champion; his brother, Donnie of Champion and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 1, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Inurnment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
