Gary E. McQuaid, 83, passed away on August 12, 2025. He was born on May 18, 1942 in Sardis, W.V. a son of George and Gladys (Perry) McQuaid.

Gary worked for Packard Electric for many years and eventually owned his own gas station/convenience store. He married the love of his life, Joyce Bright, on April 15, 1977.

Gary leaves behind many who loved him including his wife of 48 years, Joyce; his daughter Belinda (Timothy) Faust of East Palestine, OH; sons Cary (Daris) McQuaid of Florida and Shawn Carr of Howland, OH; a sister Sonya (Jim) Blatchford; a brother Louis McQuaid, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Gary was predeceased by his parents, a son David McQuaid and a daughter Stacy Carr.

The family asks that donations be made in honor of Gary to Dementia and Alzheimer's research.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 11am-12pm with the Funeral at 12pm at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel and Mausoleum. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna, OH.
