Gladys J. Rosenberg 1921 - 2013
ARBOR VITAE, Wis. - Gladys J. Rosenberg, 92, of 11016 Chippewa Forest Road, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Ministry Saint Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander, Wis.
Born May 1, 1921, in Bratton Township, Mifflin County, Pa., Gladys was the daughter of Israel Z. and Rosa Miller Harshbarger.
Her husband, John W. Rosenberg, preceded her in death in 2000.
Surviving children are John D. Rosenberg of Cortland and Alan P. Rosenberg of Arbor Vitae, Wis. Grandchildren include Mike Rosenberg, Stacey Rosenberg VanKlompenberg and Travis Rosenberg of Michigan, Neal Rosenberg of Trego, Wis., and Joy Rosenberg Pitzer of Arbor Vitae.
Gladys also had seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Carter, Isabella and Peyton of Michigan and Seth, Hannah and Sydney of Wisconsin.
Gladys was a very generous, kind-hearted person who loved God and her family. Her death is only the beginning of her life with her Lord.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11a.m. Aug. 10 at the Crown Hill Chapel in Vienna, with service following.
Selby Funeral Home handled the local arrangements.
