Port Royal, SC - Helen S. Ferguson, born October 26, 1916, passed away peacefully into the loving hands of God, on February 21, 2011, at River Oaks Convalescent Center in Port Royal, South Carolina.

She was born in Baggaley, Pennsylvania to John and Mary Sotak.

She was the widow of John E. Ferguson and was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; John, Andrew and George, and sisters: Ann and Margaret.

She had been living in South Carolina for the past six years, having moved from Warren, Ohio, where she was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for many years.

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her son, John E. (Lorraine) Ferguson, Jr. of Beaufort, South Carolina, grandchildren: Theresa (Jorge) Saez of Pompano Beach, Florida, John E. (Diane) Ferguson III of Chantilly, Virginia, and Craig Ferguson also of Pompano Beach, Florida. She also leaves a sister, Mary Kistler of Las Vegas, Nevada and Joseph (Mary) Sotak of Ohio in addition to six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends my call from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Friday, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna, OH. A prayer service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Father Thomas Eisweirth.
