Cortland - Helen I. Fusselman, 104, died early Thursday morning, January 15, 2015 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren.
Helen was born March 12, 1910, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Cecil P. and Olive Ruth (Elson) Janson..
She earned a Master's Degree from Kent State, and went on to teach in the Warren City School District for 38 years, retiring on May 23, 1978.
Helen attended Central Christian Church in Warren.
She belonged to the Bridge Club and played tournament bridge. She was also an avid golfer and enjoyed art.
She married Donald Fusselman on June 19, 1937 and they enjoyed 67 years of marriage.
Donald died in April of 2004.
Helen leaves behind a son, Kent (Gerry) of Cortland; a daughter, Sandra (Dean) Roush of Sebring; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Helen's husband, Donald; brother, Wendell (Bud) Janson and a sister, Esther Kinsley, preceded her in death.
Calling hours for Helen will be held from 10 am to 11 am, Monday, January 19, with the service to follow at 11 am, at Crown Hill's Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. Pastor Myron Daum will be officiating.

Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
