Obituary
Niles - Helen S. Preece, 92, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles.
Helen was born November 1, 1923 in Warren, Oh., the daughter of Steve and Teriz (Sandula) Semko.
She was employed at Packard Electric in Warren, and was previously a member of St. Peter and Paul Church.
Helen married Leland B. Preece on October 16, 1954. Leland died in 2002.
Helen loved long rides, birds, flowers, and visiting family and friends. She enjoyed later in life doing crafts and playing bingo.
She leaves behind a daughter, Gena (Steve) Marcinko of Howland; three grandchildren, Dustin (Patience) Marcinko, Rick Preece, and Kimberly Nocente; and seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A son, Frank Preece; brothers John and Steve; and sisters, Margit and Mary preceded Helen in death.
Visitation for Helen will be Saturday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm. Reverend Koehler will officiate.
Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
The family would like to give a special thanks the staff of Autumn Hill Care Center for care and understanding given to Helen.
