Warren - Jessie A. Glover, 97, died Friday, July 14, 2017 at her residence.

Jessie was born October 6, 1919, in Alvy, West Virginia, the daughter of Mahlon and Mary Alice Baker.

During WWII, Jessie was a women's ordinance worker, making ammunitions for the United States war effort at Martin Airplane Factory in Baltimore, MD. She also worked for Weirton Steel.

Jessie married Paul Edward Glover on April 22, 1947. Mr. Glover passed away in December of 2006.

Jessie loved her children and grandchildren and spent many hour sewing quilt tops that were distributed to children's homes. During WWII, she was very proud of her service as a "Rosie the Riveter".

She leaves behind two daughters, Debra (Pete) Nash of Warren and Linda (Jay) King of Warren; grandchildren: Megan (Patrick) Drobotij of Tallmadge, Ryan (Kalynn) King of CO, Jenna (Martin) Sharp of Cortland and Scott (Anna) King of CO; and great-grandchildren Carter and Charlotte King of CO.

Preceding Jessie in death were her sisters, Cecil Walters, Wanda Rakocky, Wilda Kline, Gertrude Swiger and Freda Dotson, and her husband, Paul Glover.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 22, at Crown Hill's Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. There will be no visitation.

Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
