Ms. Barrows was a graduate of Youngstown State University and was a CPA with the offices of Barrows and Company, CPA. She was also the founder of Second Chance Animal Rescue. Joann was truly devoted to the saving, rescuing and adopting of many felines. Her family will remember her as hard working, detail oriented and a giving person.

She is survived by her mother, Carol J. Stasiak; sister, Barbara J. Watts; brother, Edward (Patricia) Stasiak; and nieces and nephews, Nicole, Luke and Caleb Watts and Ashley and Jacob Stasiak.

She is preceded in death by her father.

Family will receive friends at the Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel Mausoleum, 3966 Warren Sharon Rd., Vienna, on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. A committal service will be held at Crown Hill on Monday, January 6 at 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Joann, may be given to the Second Chance Animal Rescue, PO BOX 4867, Austintown, Ohio, 44515.
