Westerville, OH - John F. Smith, 67, formerly of Warren, OH, died at his residence in Westerville on Friday, September 15, 2017.

John was born January, 28, 1950 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Carl C. and Margaret (Orr) Smith.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

John was an employee of Graybar Electric for 32 years, retiring in 2010.

John's wife, Jennifer, whom he married on November 24, 1973, passed away in March of 2007.

He leaves behind three sons, Brian (Sara) Smith, and Kevin (Lindsey) both of Columbus, OH and Ronald (Alisha) of Delaware, OH; brothers, Richard (Pat) Smith of Troy, OH, and Paul Smith of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Judy (Roger) Ditmarsen of Cleveland; and six grandchildren.

Private services for John were held Wednesday, September 20, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. Pastor Tom Badenjek officiated.

Burial took place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
