WARREN - June G. Mowery, 81, of 3558 Valacamp S.E., Warren, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Vista Center on the Ridge.

She was born July 22, 1932, in Girard, the daughter of Lawrence Williams and Alma Pinkerton Williams.

June was a Girard High School graduate. She worked for the Warren Board of Education as a computer processor, retiring after 16 years.

June and her husband were members of the Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church, where they were Pleasantimers and members of Caring and Sharing.

She enjoyed reading, board games, puzzles and occasional gambling.

Survivors include two sons, Rick F. (Shannon) Mowery and David L. (Genise) Mowery; five daughters, Deborah A. (Chris) Bobby, Pamela J. Kottek, Dorene (Bill) Meyer, Shari (Randy) Schiavone and Shirley (Rod) Miller; a brother, Larry Williams; two sisters, Shirley Charles and Judy Barninger; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Mowery, whom she married Feb. 23, 1952, and who passed away April 26, 2006; a son-in-law, Richard Kottek; and a stepgrandson, William Meyer Jr.

All calling hours and services are private. Entombment will follow in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
