Warren - Katherine V. Forrest, 65, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Katherine was born October 25, 1946, in Warren, the daughter of Robert G. and Bernice (Loper) Davis.
She worked as a laborer for Wetzel Inc. for 10 years, and as a firefighter for four years. Katherine was Warren Township's first female firefighter.
Katherine loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking.
She married Charles Forrest, Sr. January 20, 1970. Charles died in 2007.
Survivors include her mother, Bernice (Loper) Davis of Warren: her daughter, Kimberly A. Everhart of Braceville; her sons, Timothy Reeves of Cleveland and Charles (Julie) Forrest, Jr. of Warren;15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her husband and father preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Friday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
