ONEONTA, Ala. - Liz Gilcher, 81, of Oneonta, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016.
She was born Nov. 7, 1934, the daughter of Darrell and Sclena Hart Fall.
Mrs. Gilcher was a prep cook for The Lodge in Austintown and attended Warren Revival Center. She loved cooking, baking and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Cottrill of Salem, W.Va., and Debbie (Edward) Rudy of Oneonta; sons, Raymond Gilcher of Warren and Robert (Tammy) Gilcher of Youngstown; stepsons, James Gilcher of Warren and David Gilcher of Niles; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dale Fall of Colorado, Wayne Fall of Windham and Duke Fall of Newton Falls; and sisters, Mary Ann Frank of Newton Falls and Violet Saltzman of Texas.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Darrell and Sclena Hart Fall; husband, James Gilcher Sr.; granddaughter, Kimberly McFarland; son, Darrell Gibson; and brothers, Arnold, Omar and Adam Fall.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the Selby-Cole Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel, with the Rev. James Holbrook officiating.
Burial will follow in the Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
