1933 - 2015

Cortland - Lola Lougara Bowen, 81, passed away Saturday morning, October 17, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

Lola was born December 20, 1933 in Summerville, WV, the daughter of David and Pina (Bailes) Brown.

She was a graduate of Howland High School.

Lola married Charles (Bud) Bowen on September 12, 1952. She was a wonderful wife, who dedicated her life to her husband and family. Mr. Bowen died in April of 2013.

Lola leaves behind a son, Douglas (Ronele) Bowen of Athens, GA; a brother, Willis Brown; a granddaughters Lora (Kris) Mortensen of Boca Raton, FL and Charlene Wisby, of Athens, GA; a great grandson, Soren Wisby of Athens, GA; a nephew, Donald (Ana) Brown of Garrettsville and numberous other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Entombment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
