Madeline M. Hurst Nobbs

Bristolville - Madeline M. Hurst Nobbs, 90, died peacefully at her residence Sunday morning, April 18, 2011, surrounded by her family.
Madeline was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Wallace, W.Va., the daughter of the late Blake C. and Nellie Davisson Hannah.
She was a longtime resident of Vienna before moving to Bristolville to live with her daughter, Carol Faust, and John Bidinotto. She was a member of Vienna Baptist Church and the Wooden Nickel Club. She enjoyed reading and gardening.
She is survived by her five daughters, Helen (LeRoy) Johnson of Champion, Luetta (Gene) Pyatt of Bazetta, LaVon "Agnes" (Bill) Reed of Warren, Carol Foust of Bristolville and Penny (Steve) Bada of Girard; six sons, Clifford (Cora) Hurst of Southington, David (Donna) Hurst of Masury, James Hurst of Tiffen, Ronald (Theresa) Nobbs of Nebraska, Harry (Terri) Nobbs of Girard and Barry Nobbs of Vienna; a brother, Blake Charles (Ellen) Hannah of West Virginia; 36 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Lee Hurst, whom she married May 6, 1939, and died July 16, 1950; her second husband, Ronald Nobbs, whom she married Dec. 4, 1954, and died Oct. 4, 2006; two sisters; and grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the Crown Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at the Selby-Simpson Funeral Home in Vienna.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park.
