1916 - 2015

Margaret M. Bode, 98, of Andover, OH, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Jefferson Healthcare Center.

Margaret was born November 2, 1916 in Brookville, PA, the daughter of

Richard A. Tobin and Emma (Martz) Tobin.

She was a graduate of South High School.

Margaret was an active member of St. Vincent De Paul Church and loved gardening, bus tours and being with her family.

She leaves behind daughters, Patricia A. Kerchofer of Columbiana, OH and Margo M. (Richard) Hornyak of Andover, OH; sons, Thomas F. (Kathy) Bode of Boardman and Michael J. Bode of Coitsville; daughters, Ellen K. Bode of Sharon, PA and Maureen B. Wiland-Bode of Warren. Margaret also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A sister, Helen Shotts and brother, James A. Tobin preceded Margaret in death.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, from 5 to 7 pm, at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna. The funeral service will be Thursday, at St. Thomas The Apostle, 4453 Warren-Sharon Rd. in Vienna at 10 am.

Entombment will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
