Mary Zickefoose

Warren - Mary Zickefoose, 89, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born July 17, 1922 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Steve and Teriz ( Saudula) Semko.
Mary was employed by Republic Steel as a housekeeping supervisor for 15 years.
Mary loved her family, gardening and was a seamstress. She upholstered furniture and enjoyed a variety of crafts.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, the Blue Star Mothers, the 700 Club and was a foster parent through Feed the Children.
Her husband, the late Elmer J. Zickefoose whom she married April 6, 1949, died July 23, 2005.
She leaves behind her sons, David E (Darlene) Zickefoose of Warren, Robert L. Zickefoose of Howland, Thomas A. (Marian) Zickefoose of Canfield, Neal (Sue) Zickefoose of Vienna and John (Jay) and Helen (Penny) of Howland; daughters, Theresa (Gary) Johnson of Warren and Sandra (Bruce) Bowers of Champion; a sister Helen Preece of Howland. Mary also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, John and Steve; a sister, Margaret Semko; a grandchild, Mary; and a great-grandchild Daisy preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum, with the funeral service Friday at 11:00 am, also at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
Burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park.
