Youngstown - Michael Provich Jr. passed away November 22, 2010 at Liberty Healthcare.
Mr. Provich was born April 7, 1926 in Renton, Pa a son of Michael Provich, Sr. and Rosa Mikacinich.
A Seaman First Class U.S Navy Veteran during WW II, Mr Provich worked at Youngstown Steel door for 33 years retiring in 1990 and was a member of the Fowler Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Michael enjoyed Polka music and dancing, the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians and most important his grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, David (Darla) Provich of Marysville and Mark Provich of Vienna; three daughters, Michele Youler of Vienna, Janet (John) Biro of Howland, and Jerrylynn (Ken) Thornsberry of Vienna; two sisters, Zora (Mike) Helco
of McDonald, and Helen Godfrey of Pennsylvania; and ten grandchildren, Christine (Chip) Nietert, George (Mary) Bucan, Jr., Stacie (Frank) Oviatt, Jennifer (Christian) de la Torre, David Jr., Max Provich, Brad and Stacey Biro, James and Robert Youler and the mother of his children Doris Provich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Sam Mikacinich; two sisters, Sophia Mullen and Mary Ketchell; and his son-in-law, James Youler.
The family will receive friends Saturday 12 – 2 PM with a Funeral Service at 2 PM at the Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum. The family entrusted the service to Selby – Simpson
