Leavittsburg - Millard A. (Buck) Floyd 84, of Pendleton Rd. Leavittsburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 11, 2013. He was surrounded by loved ones when God called him home.
He was born on March, 18, 1928 in Mannington, West Virginia, but lived most of his life in Ohio. He was part of a large loving family of four sisters and three brothers.
He worked at Taylor Winfield company for 55 years until he retired. He was a member of the Moose lodge of Niles, Ohio.
He Loved bowling, fishing, hunting, and was an avid Ohio sports fan. He loved going to church and spending time with his friends and family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Marion Floyd and his loving daughter Jacquelyn Cox.
He is survived by his wife and best friend Lari J. Floyd of the home; his son Michael Floyd of California; daughter and care giver Sherrie McHenry and Kevin Taylor of the home; Nicole and Larry Peoples of Kimbolton, Oh; Son-in-law Terry Cox, of the home; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Marisa, Mark, Sarah, Bethany, Natasha, Nathaniel, and Dustyn and two great grandchildren. He was loved by so many and will be missed always.
Calling hours will be at 10:00 am with services following at 11:00 am at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum, in Vienna, Oh.
Please join family and friends afterwards to celebrate the life of Buck at Praise Cathedral Church of God, 608 Iowa Ave. Niles, Ohio.
Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
