Warren - Nicola "Nick" Ruggeri, 85, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, OH.
Mr. Ruggeri was born September 21, 1928 in Gioiosa Marea, Italy, the son of Filippo and Carmela (Gumina) Ruggeri.
He attended school in Italy and later served in the U.S. Army.
A long time Warren resident, Mr. Ruggeri was employed by Republic Steel, where he retired as a crane operator.
He married Margherita on January 5, 1956. She died in October of 2003.
Mr. Ruggeri leaves behind a son, Richard Ruggeri of Novelty, OH; a daughter, Carmela Previte of Cleveland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His parents, wife, one brother and a sister preceded him in death.
A private funeral service was held for Mr. Ruggeri, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Crown Hill's Chapel Mausoleum.
