Hartford - Ray "Bud" Andrews, Jr., 84, of Harford, died Sunday, October 10, 2010, at his residence.
Ray was born February 23, 1926, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Ray and Mary (Smith) Andrews Sr.
He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding and attended Ohio University.
Ray served in the US Navy during WWII as a Signalman, 3rd Class.
Ray was a dairy farmer and worked at Packard Electric for 18 years, retiring in 1986.
He was a member of the Harford Community Church, enjoyed nature and had a love for dogs and shopping. Ray was also an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Ray leaves behind two nephews, Richard and Thomas Fish of Orlando, Fla; and niece, Susan Fish of Orlando, Fla.
He will be sadly missed by Lynda Witchey, Betty Smith and Sylvia Meikle and many neighbors in Hartford.
Ray's parents and sister, Jean Fish preceded him in death.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm with the funeral service at 5:00 pm at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
Memorials may be sent to the Animal Welfare League Shelter, 545 Brunstetter Rd. SW, Warren, Ohio 44481.
