Howland - Richard A. Bishop, 65, passed away at his residence, Monday, July 13, 2015, after an extended illness.
Richard was born December 9, 1949, in Warren, the son of Frank and Jennie (Balog) Bishop.
He was a 1968 graduate of Warren Harding High School.
Richard spent 30 years as an independent contracting engineer. He enjoyed buying and refurbishing older homes to resell.
Richard liked landscaping and gardening. He was a fan of the Browns, Indians and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Earlier in life, Richard loved playing golf and tennis.
He leaves behind a brother, Kenneth Bishop of Warren; a niece, Jenna Beal of North Ridgeville, OH; and a nephew, Brett Bishop of Columbus, OH.
Visitation for Richard will be held Friday, from 1 to 2 pm, and the funeral service will begin at 2 pm at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum, in Vienna,
Burial will be made in Crown Hill Burial Park.
