1950 - 2014

Ronald L. Burns, 63, of Champion Township, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born on August 1, 1950 in Youngstown the son of Vincent L. and Lorena R. (Floch) Burns. Ron was employed with Delphi Packard Electric and retired after 33 years. After retiring he worked for Nuverra Environmental Solutions, formerly Ray Pander Trucking. He was a pround member of GWRRA, Motorcycle club.

Ron enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle, and being the 1st Mate on his father's charter boat.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra R. (Udall) Burns, whom he married in Warren on December 15, 1995; he also leaves behind his father, Vincent Burns; two children, Amana Renee (Blake) Collins and Aaron Matthew Burns; two step-children, James Allen Douglas and Jonathan Fitch (Bailey) Douglas; grandchildren, Alyvia Collins, Caden Douglas and Kailee, Joshua and Olivia Douglas; sister, Marsha(Frank) Vivo; father-in-law, George Udall; and mother of his children, Peggy Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorena Burns; and mother-in-law, Virginia Udall.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., at the Champion Christian Church, 151 Center St., W., Warren with Pastor Ken Hopkins, officiating. Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park.
