Franklin, KY – It is with sadness and appreciation for a life well lived that we say goodbye to Rose M. Kirk. Rose departed this life on June 13, 2024.

Rose was born in Masontown, WV. on February 27, 1927. A daughter of Jasper Dellosa and Lucy Guiliani.

Rose graduated from Masontown High School in 1944 where she then pursued a career as a beautician. She spent 27 years as a cafeteria worker for Warren City Schools, Western Reserve and West Jr. before she retired.

Rose married the love of her life, Clyde K. Kirk on June 13, 1953.

She found enjoyment in playing the lottery. She also had a love for music, puzzles and bowling, which she did for 30 years.

Rose leaves behind many who loved her including: Sons; James (Maureen) Kirk of FL and Craig Kirk of OH. A daughter, Jennifer (James) Kelsh of KY. A sister, Norine Crist of PA. Four grandchildren; Garrett (Brandon) Kelsh, Jerry (Brittany) Gianoutsos, Christopher Kirk, Rachel Kirk and 3 great-grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Clyde K. Kirk. Four sisters; Sue Brownfield, Eleanor Northrup, Edith Contic, Elizabeth Snooks and a brother, Louie Dellosa.

Donations can be made in Rose's honor to the American Cancer Society.

Private services will be held at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel and Mausoleum in Vienna OH on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at 1pm with entombment to follow at 1:30.

Services were entrusted to Selby-Barbee Funeral Home.
