Warren - Roy Lee Johnson, 85, died Monday morning at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.

Roy was born September 12, 1932, in Grafton, West Virginia, the son of Roy R. and Mabel E. (Trumbel) Johnson.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Shinnston, WV and later joined the U.S. Army in February 1953.

Roy was also employed with G.M. of Lordstown for over 27 years, retiring February 28, 1993

He loved to go camping, hunting and fishing. Roy had a pilot license and loved flying and traveling.

Roy married Norma Jean (McClung) Johnson on June 11, 1955.

Roy leaves a his wife, Norma, of 63 years, of Howland Twp, along with his son, Eric, of      Evans, WV, and Gary, of Georgetown, KY. He also leaves behind a sister, Lucille Atherton, of Long Bottom, OH, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

His parents, two brothers, Gerald and Harold Johnson and a sister, Mary Lou Conrad preceded Roy in death.

Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
