Mable L. Croyle 1927 - 2010

Mrs. Croyle was born December 25, 1927, in Altoona, PA, the daughter of Charles T. and Esther L. (Wilhelm) Swegan.

Mable was a homemaker and had worked for Copperweld Steel and the Golden Stallion Restaurant as a cook.

She enjoyed crocheting and creating homemade gifts for her family. Mable loved spending time with her great-grandchildren and making cookies for friends and family for all occasions. Mable also attracted sons-in-law with her cookies.

Mable was a member of the Central Baptist Church and was a member of the church's Ladies Club.

She married Francis H. Croyle January 7, 1946. Francis passed away October 21, 2006.

Mable leaves behind daughters, Barbara (James) Godney of Warren, Saundra (John) Mann of Youngstown, Deborah (Ed) Viets of Johnston; and a son, Richard (Tina) Croyle of Warren; three sisters, Vera Perks of Johnston, Alice Kowalski of San Antonio, TX, Ida Barnett of San Antonio TX. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Preceding Mable in death are her parents and sons, Charles, William and Francis Jr. and 2 great grandsons, Anthony and Joshua; and three borthers, Theodore, Howard and Raymond Swegan.

Calling hours will be held at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna, on Friday, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with calling hours one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am. at Niles Central Baptist Church.
