Winifred C. Burnfield, 93, passed away in the early morning hours on Thursday, October 22, 2026. She was born in Bazetta, OH on June 18, 1933 a daughter to the late Norwood and Flossie (Murphy) Collier.

Winifred graduated from Bazetta High School and went on to earn an Associate’s degree in Business. She worked as an Executive Secretary. She spent many years living in Howland, OH and also living in North Fort Myers, FL. She married the love of her life, Edward M. Burnfield on September 16, 1950. They just celebrated 76 beautiful years together.

She leaves behind many to mourn her including her beloved husband, Edward; sons Jerrol (Joan) Burnfield of OH, Keith Burnfield (Ron Camp) of OH; daughters Pamela Burnfield of S.C., Sherrol (Donald) Nicklas of MO, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents and a granddaughter, Joy Burnfield.

As per the families wishes, Services will be held privately.
